Hello
every one. I hope all is doing well and enjoying this nice cooler weather, which is a Blessing from the hot weather
we have been experiencing for quite some time.
It saddens me to report that at this time we only currently have a
total of 19 residents. We have lost about 7 residents to Nursing Homes due to declining health since June of this
year. As everybody knows, we, along with every other kinds of businesses, are feeling the effect of our Nations economy,
and have been for quite a while. We refuse to let that get us down though, as we continue to pray for our "Home"
and ask God's blessings upon us and our residents, and ask His will for us, for it is His will be done, not ours. I refuse
to give up on Hope and Faith. Remember the Pythian Guest House in your prayers.
Back in June, we had the New Plainsmen perform a fundraising
concert for us in Greenville, Texas. Although there were not many in attendance, fun was had by all and the group really
put on a great show.
We will be having our Residents Christmas party this year, Saturday, December 10th
at 2:00 p.m. We would love for you to join us to help make this a special occasion for the residents, for they love
to see new faces. As always, we appreciate each and every one of you for all you do for us each year.
Don't forget, we have our annual Visitation Day May 5, 2012.
Come out and have great fun with us!
We appreciate your continuing support. Any donations, or
memorials you would like to send, are appreciated and welcomed. Remember, if you haven't been to the Pythian
Guest House, you are welcomed to stop by for a visit anytime.
